Test G: Memory Seat Only Moves In One Second Intervals/Memory Seat Does Not Operate Using Memory Switch
WARNING:
Vehicle may be equipped with seatback-mounted air bags. Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation involving seat components. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in RESTRAINTS.
CAUTION:
On models equipped with side air bags, Air Bag Simulator (40-009) MUST be connected to all air bag floor harness connectors. After diagnosis/repair, air bag simulator must be removed prior to operating vehicle.
- Ensure vehicle is in Park. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Using NGS tester, retrieve and record continuous DTCs. Clear DTCs and perform DSM self-test. During DSM self-test, note when memory set LED lights and turns off. If any DTCs are retrieved, perform appropriate test. See TEST "G" DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE TEST INDEX table. If no DTCs are retrieved, go to next step. If memory set LED fails to light during self-test, go to step 5.TEST "G" DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES TEST INDEX
