Test 2: Stability Assist Indicator Does Not Self-Check

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect ABCM connector (C155). Turn ignition on. If stability assist indicator illuminates, go to next step. If stability assist indicator does not illuminate, see appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
  2. Turn ignition off. Reconnect ABCM connector. Turn ignition on. If stability assist indicator illuminates for about 3 seconds and then turns off, indicator is working properly. Test system for normal operation. If indicator does not illuminate for about 3 seconds and then turns off, replace ABCM.
