Removal & Installation
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove intake manifold. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in 1.9L article in ENGINES. Remove CMP sensor mounting screws and CMP sensor from cylinder head. See Fig 1 . To install, replace "O" ring. Install CMP sensor and retaining screws. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten CMP sensor screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
