Keyless Entry Switch Assembly

The keyless entry switch assembly is mounted on the outside panel of the driver's door. The switch assembly has five push button switches. Pressing any switch assembly button activates the illuminated entry system. Entering the correct code number at the switch assembly will prompt the keyless entry module to unlock the driver's door. Pressing the 3/4 switch within five seconds after the driver's door unlocks will unlock the other three doors.

Pressing the 5/6 switch within five seconds after the driver's door unlocks will unlock the trunk lid. Pressing the 7/8 and 9/0 buttons at the same time locks all doors. The keyless entry switch assembly is also used to enable or disable the autolock function. To enable automatic door locking, the driver must first enter the correct code at the switch assembly. Then, while pressing and holding the 9/0 button, the 3/4 button must be pressed. Using the same procedures, autolocking is disabled.
