Test Connector Short To Ground

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1992 Ford Probe. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Ensure PRC control module connector is disconnected. Turn ignition off. Set VOM on 200-k/ohm scale. Measure resistance between Blue/White wire and ground. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, proceed to PINPOINT TEST Q7. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair Blue/White wire between control module and test connector for short to ground.
