Short To Ground Check

Turn ignition off. Disconnect PRC control module connector and Variable Assist Power Steering (VAPS) control module connector. Set VOM on 200-k/ohm scale. Measure resistance at PRC control module connector between: Green wire and ground, Green/White wire and ground and Green/Yellow wire and ground. If resistance in all cases is greater than 10 k/ohms, proceed to PINPOINT TEST B7. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in appropriate wire.
