Continuous Monitor Test (Cont.)

  1. Turn ignition and voltmeter off to reset PRC processor. Place steering wheel in straight-ahead position. Turn ignition and voltmeter on. Raise and support vehicle.
  2. Using an on-vehicle wheel balancer, spin front wheels at a speed greater than 9 mph (15 km/h). Tap and wiggle PRC components and wiring harness. Record any service codes.
  3. If Code 2 is indicated, proceed to PINPOINT TEST B1. If vehicle passes this test, proceed to PINPOINT TEST A1. If no codes are indicated, proceed to PINPOINT TEST A1. If Code 1 or any code other than those specified is indicated, proceed to PINPOINT TEST Q1.
