Key On Engine Off Test (Cont.)

  1. Turn ignition and voltmeter off to reset PRC processor. Place steering wheel in straight-ahead position. Turn ignition and voltmeter on. Raise and support vehicle. Using an on-vehicle wheel balancer, spin front wheels at a speed greater than 9 MPH (15 km/h). Record any service codes.
  2. If Code 1 is indicated, this portion of testing is passed. Proceed to PINPOINT TEST B1. For intermittent symptoms, proceed to TEST QT4. If Code 2 is indicated, proceed to PINPOINT TEST B1. If vehicle passes B pinpoint tests, proceed to PINPOINT TEST A1.
  3. If no codes are indicated, proceed to PINPOINT TEST A1. If any other code(s) are indicated, proceed to PINPOINT TEST Q1.
