Removal [08/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for HEV Model) 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [10/2022 - 10/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [10/2024 - ]
  2. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER AND ACCESSORY SUB-ASSEMBLY (for PHEV Model) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [08/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

      1. Disengage the 3 wire harness clamps.
      2. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
      3. Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold.
        • SST: 09224-00012 
        NOTE:

        If the air fuel ratio sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
