Removal [08/2016 - 01/2023]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [11/2017 - ]
- REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [11/2017 - 03/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [03/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [09/2020 - 01/2023]
- REMOVE ABSORBER CONTROL ECU
- Fold back the floor carpet.
- Disengage the 2 clamps and separate the connector holder from the vehicle body.NOTE:
Do not apply excessive force to the wire harnesses.
- Disconnect the 2 connectors.
- Remove the bolt, nut and absorber control ECU.NOTE:
- Avoid any impact to the absorber control ECU.
- Do not drop the absorber control ECU. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
