Removal [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/o Spare Tire) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [09/2014 - 03/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [03/2019 - ]

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/ Spare Tire) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [09/2014 - 03/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [03/2019 - ]

  3. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY (w/o Spare Tire) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [09/2014 - 03/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [03/2019 - ]

  4. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [09/2014 - 03/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [03/2019 - ]

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. REMOVE FRONT UPPER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [09/2014 - 03/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [03/2019 - ]

  7. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [09/2014 - 03/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [03/2019 - ]

  8. REMOVE FUEL PUMP CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 4 claws and open the 2 covers.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 rope hook assemblies.

    3. Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips.

    4. Disengage the clamp and turn back the luggage compartment trim side cover LH.
    5. for Brush Type Motor:

      1. Disconnect the 2 fuel pump control ECU assembly connectors.
      2. Remove the 2 bolts and fuel pump control ECU assembly from the vehicle body.
        NOTE:

        Do not reuse the fuel pump control ECU assembly if it has been dropped or subjected to a severe impact.

      for Brush Type Motor:

      1. Disconnect the 2 fuel pump control ECU assembly connectors.
      2. Remove the 2 bolts and fuel pump control ECU assembly from the vehicle body.
        NOTE:

        Do not reuse the fuel pump control ECU assembly if it has been dropped or subjected to a severe impact.

      3. Remove the 2 screws and fuel pump control ECU bracket.
