- INSPECT BLIND SPOT MONITOR MAIN SWITCH (WARNING CANCELING SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 8 (B) - 11 (D) Blind spot monitor main switch on (not protruding) Below 1 Ω 8 (B) - 11 (D) Blind spot monitor main switch off (protruding) 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the blind spot monitor main switch (warning canceling switch assembly).
- Check that the blind spot monitor indicator illuminates.
- Apply battery voltage to the blind spot monitor main switch (warning canceling switch assembly) and check that the switch illuminates.

Connection Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 8 (B)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 12 (E)Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the blind spot monitor main switch (warning canceling switch assembly).
- Apply battery voltage to the blind spot monitor main switch (warning canceling switch assembly) and check that the switch illuminates.
- Check that the switch illuminates.
- Apply battery voltage to the blind spot monitor main switch (warning canceling switch assembly) and check that the switch illuminates.

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
