Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - 09/2017] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2017 - ]

  3. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT WITH CENTER BEARING ASSEMBLY (for AWD) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ]

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for Sport Package) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [10/2014 - 09/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [09/2016 - 05/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [05/2019 - ]

  5. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the 2 wire harness clamps to disconnect the wire harness from the wire harness bracket.

    2. Remove the bolt and wire harness bracket.
    3. Disconnect the throttle body with motor assembly connector.
    4. Slide the 2 hose clamps, and then disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose and No. 11 water by-pass hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.

      *1 No. 2 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 11 Water By-pass Hose
    5. Remove the 8 bolts and No. 2 air tube and throttle body with motor assembly.

    6. Remove the 3 gaskets.
