Disassembly [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL SUB-TANK 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors from the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the setting holder from the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

      HINT: 

      Slightly lower the fuel suction plate sub-assembly to remove the setting holder.

    3. Detach the 3 claws.

    4. Detach the 3 claws and disconnect the jet pump from the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

    5. Remove the spring from the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

    6. Remove the O-ring from the jet pump.

  2. REMOVE FUEL MAIN VALVE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the No. 2 fuel suction support from the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

    2. Using a screwdriver, remove the fuel main valve assembly from the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

      NOTE:

      Do not damage the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 O-rings from the fuel main valve assembly.
  3. REMOVE FUEL PUMP 
    1. Detach the 3 claws and remove the fuel pump filter.

    2. Disconnect the connector from the fuel pump.

    3. Remove the fuel pump from the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

    4. Remove the O-ring from the fuel pump.

    5. Remove the fuel pump spacer from the fuel pump.
