- PRECAUTION FOR SEMICONDUCTOR POWER INTEGRATION ECU
- Do not remove or install the semiconductor power integration ECU with the negative (-) battery terminal connected.NOTE:
- After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal while performing repairs, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2018 - 10/2020]
- After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
- Make sure that the semiconductor power integration ECU is not exposed to water, as it is not waterproof.
- Some load is connected to a dedicated circuit to prevent overcurrent. Therefore, parts other than those specified for the vehicle may not be able to be used.
- When replacing the semiconductor power integration ECU, the system may not operate normally if the same part number is not used.
- Check that systems are operating normally before proceeding with troubleshooting.
- Do not remove or install the semiconductor power integration ECU with the negative (-) battery terminal connected.
