Terminals Of Ecu [01/2017 - 05/2023]

  1. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the U1 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      U1-11 (B) - U1-12 (GND) LA-GR - LA-R Power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      U1-12 (GND) - Body ground LA-R - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the U1 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      U1-15 (DOWN) - U1-12 (GND) G - LA-R Power window motor DOWN output Power switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      Power switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, driver door power window regulator switch pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      U1-20 (UP) - U1-12 (GND) R - LA-R Power window motor UP output Power switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      Power switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, driver door power window regulator switch pulled halfway up (Manual operation) Below 1 V
  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the S2 power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      S2-1 (GND) - Body ground B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      S2-2 (B) - Body ground L - Body ground Power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
    3. Reconnect the S2 power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      S2-7 (DOWN) - S2-1 (GND) G - B Power window motor DOWN input Power switch on (IG), multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      Power switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG), driver door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
      Power switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) fully pushed down (Auto operation) Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG), driver door power window fully open 11 to 14 V
      S2-10 (UP) - S2-1 (GND) R - B Power window motor UP input Power switch on (IG), multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      Power switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) pulled halfway up (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG), driver door power window fully opened 11 to 14 V
      Power switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) fully pulled up (Auto operation) Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG), driver door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Disconnect the R2 power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      R2-1 (GND) - Body ground B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      R2-2 (B) - Body ground L - Body ground Power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
    3. Reconnect the R2 power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      R2-4 (AUTO) - R2-1 (GND) B - B Power window motor AUTO UP input Power switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully open 11 to 14 V
      Power switch on (IG), front passenger door power window moving, power window regulator switch assembly fully pulled up (Auto operation) Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
      Power window motor AUTO DOWN input Power switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
      Power switch on (IG), front passenger door power window moving, power window regulator switch assembly fully pushed down (Auto operation) Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully open 11 to 14 V
      R2-7 (DOWN) - R2-1 (GND) G - B Power window motor DOWN input Power switch on (IG), power window regulator switch assembly not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      Power switch on (IG), front passenger door power window moving, power window regulator switch assembly pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V

  4. CHECK FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH

    1. Disconnect the S9 front multiplex network door ECU LH connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      S9-6 (BDR) - S9-1 (GND) R - W-B Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      S9-16 (BCUT) - S9-1 (GND) V - W-B Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      S9-3 (SIG) - S9-1 (GND) LA-B - W-B Power switch power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      S9-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the S9 front multiplex network door ECU LH connector.
    4. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      S9-5 (BDRJ) - S9-1 (GND) L - W-B Power window regulator motor power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      S9-2 (PWE) - Body ground B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      S9-15 (CPBJ) - S9-1 (GND) GR - W-B Multiplex network master switch assembly power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      S9-9 (SGND) - Body ground R - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
  5. CHECK FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU RH

    1. Disconnect the R9 front multiplex network door ECU RH connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      R9-6 (BDR) - R9-1 (GND) R - W-B Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      R9-3 (SIG) - R9-1 (GND) LA-B - W-B Power switch power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      R9-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the R9 front multiplex network door ECU RH connector.
    4. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      R9-5 (BDRJ) - R9-1 (GND) L - W-B Power window regulator motor power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      R9-2 (PWE) - Body ground B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      R9-9 (SGND) - Body ground R - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
  6. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

    *1 Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) - -
    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the driver side junction block assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [01/2017 - 05/2023]

    2. Reconnect the driver side junction block assembly connectors.
    3. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      A-11 (GND1) - Body ground None - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      A-31 (BECU) - Body ground None - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      A-30 (ACC) - Body ground None - Body ground ACC power supply Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      Power switch off Below 1 V
      A-32 (IG) - Body ground None - Body ground IG power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Power switch off Below 1 V
    4. Install the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) to the driver side junction block assembly.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [01/2017 - 05/2023]

    5. Measure the voltage and waveform according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      P7-1 (FLCY) - Body ground R - Body ground Courtesy light switch LH input Front door LH open Below 1 V
      Front door LH closed 4.7 to 5.3 V
