Installation [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR 
    1. Install a new gasket to the engine oil level sensor.
    2. Install the engine oil level sensor to the oil pan sub-assembly and rotate it 180° clockwise.

    3. Install the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 7.0 N.m (71 kgf/cm, 62 in.lbf) 

      HINT: 

      Be sure to clean the contact surface.

    4. Connect the engine oil level sensor connector.
  2. INSTALL CRANK POSITION SENSOR BRACKET 
    1. Install the crank position sensor bracket with the bolt.

      Torque: 21 N.m (214 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf) 

    2. Attach the clamp.
  3. INSTALL OIL COOLER TUBE 
    1. Install the oil cooler tube with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 22 N.m (224 kgf/cm, 16 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Temporarily install the bolt (A), and then tighten the 2 bolts in the order of (B) and (A).

  4. ADD ENGINE OIL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [07/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [11/2021 - ]

  5. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [07/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2021 - ]

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 138 [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 141 [05/2023 - ]

  8. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 139 [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 142 [05/2023 - ]

  9. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 140 [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 143 [05/2023 - ]

  10. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22

  11. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SEAL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21

  12. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 143 [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 146 [05/2023 - ]
