Terminals Of Ecu [07/2020 - ]

  1. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the U2 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      U2-11 (B) - U2-12 (GND) LA-GR - LA-R Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      U2-12 (GND) - Body ground LA-R - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the U2 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      U2-15 (DOWN) - U2-12 (GND) G - LA-R Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, driver door power window regulator switch pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      U2-20 (UP) - U2-12 (GND) R - LA-R Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, driver door power window regulator switch pulled halfway up (Manual operation) Below 1 V
  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the S2 power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      S2-1 (GND) - Body ground B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      S2-2 (B) - Body ground L - Body ground Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
    3. Reconnect the S2 power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      S2-7 (DOWN) - S2-1 (GND) G - B Power window motor DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) fully pushed down (Auto operation) Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window fully open 11 to 14 V
      S2-10 (UP) - S2-1 (GND) R - B Power window motor UP input Engine switch on (IG), multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) pulled halfway up (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window fully opened 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) fully pulled up (Auto operation) Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Disconnect the R2 power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      R2-1 (GND) - Body ground B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      R2-2 (B) - Body ground L - Body ground Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
    3. Reconnect the R2 power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      R2-4 (AUTO) - R2-1 (GND) B - B Power window motor AUTO UP input Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully open 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window moving, power window regulator switch assembly fully pulled up (Auto operation) Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
      Power window motor AUTO DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window moving, power window regulator switch assembly fully pushed down (Auto operation) Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully open 11 to 14 V
      R2-7 (DOWN) - R2-1 (GND) G - B Power window motor DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), power window regulator switch assembly not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window moving, power window regulator switch assembly pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V

  4. QUARTER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the A quarter window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      A-1 (GND) - Body ground - Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      A-5 (B) - A-1 (GND) - Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
    3. Measure the pulse according to the value(s) in the table below.

      A-7 (LIN) - Body ground - LIN communication line Engine switch on (IG) Pulse generation
  5. QUARTER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Disconnect the B quarter window regulator motor assembly RH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      B-1 (GND) - Body ground - Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      B-5 (B) - B-1 (GND) - Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
    3. Measure the pulse according to the value(s) in the table below.

      B-7 (LIN) - Body ground - LIN communication line Engine switch on (IG) Pulse generation
  6. CHECK FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH

    1. Disconnect the S9 front multiplex network door ECU LH connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      S9-6 (BDR) - S9-1 (GND) R - W-B Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      S9-16 (BCUT) - S9-1 (GND) V - W-B Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      S9-3 (SIG) - S9-1 (GND) LA-B - W-B Engine switch power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      S9-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the S9 front multiplex network door ECU LH connector.
    4. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      S9-5 (BDRJ) - S9-1 (GND) L - W-B Power window regulator motor power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      S9-2 (PWE) - Body ground B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      S9-15 (CPBJ) - S9-1 (GND) GR - W-B Multiplex network master switch power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      S9-9 (SGND) - Body ground R - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
  7. CHECK FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU RH

    1. Disconnect the R9 front multiplex network door ECU RH connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      R9-6 (BDR) - R9-1 (GND) R - W-B Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      R9-3 (SIG) - R9-1 (GND) LA-B - W-B Engine switch power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      R9-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the R9 front multiplex network door ECU RH connector.
    4. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      R9-5 (BDRJ) - R9-1 (GND) L - W-B Power window regulator motor power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      R9-2 (PWE) - Body ground B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      R9-9 (SGND) - Body ground R - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
  8. CHECK JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY LH AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

    *1 Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) - -
    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the junction block assembly LH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

    2. Reconnect the junction block assembly LH connectors.
    3. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      A-11 (GND1) - Body ground None - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      A-31 (BECU) - Body ground None - Body ground Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      A-30 (ACC) - Body ground None - Body ground ACC power supply Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch off Below 1 V
      A-32 (IG) - Body ground None - Body ground IG power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch off Below 1 V
    4. Install the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) to the junction block assembly LH.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to INSTALLATION [05/2023 - ]

    5. Measure the voltage and waveform according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      P7-1 (FLCY) - Body ground R - Body ground Courtesy light switch LH input Front door LH open Below 1 V
      Front door LH closed 4.7 to 5.3 V
