Removal [08/2016 - 03/2018]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - 08/2019]

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [08/2016 - 12/2017] Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [12/2017 - 03/2018]

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26 [08/2016 - 12/2017] Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26 [12/2017 - 03/2018]

  7. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2015 - 12/2017] Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [12/2017 - 08/2019]

  8. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27 [08/2016 - 12/2017] Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27 [12/2017 - 03/2018]

  9. REMOVE SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts to separate the connector holder.

    2. Disconnect the 4 connectors from the skid control ECU assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and skid control ECU assembly from the vehicle body.
