Removal [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE WIRE ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and separate the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly LH.

    3. Remove the bolt and separate the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly from the sensor clamp.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE WIRE ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly.

  4. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR LH (w/o AVS) 
    1. Disconnect the rear speed sensor connector.

    2. Remove the nut and separate the sensor clamp from the rear suspension member sub-assembly.
    3. Remove the 2 bolts and separate the 2 sensor clamps from the rear upper control arm assembly LH.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts, sensor clamp and rear speed sensor LH from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly LH and rear trailing arm assembly LH.

      NOTE:
      • Keep the tip of the rear speed sensor LH and installation hole free of foreign matter.
      • Do not rotate or apply excessive force to the rear speed sensor LH when removing it from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly LH. Rotating or applying excessive force may result in damage to the rear speed sensor LH.
  5. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR LH (w/ AVS) 
    1. Disconnect the rear speed sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and separate the sensor clamp from the rear upper control arm assembly LH.
    3. Remove the 2 bolts, sensor clamp and rear speed sensor LH from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly LH and rear trailing arm assembly LH.

      NOTE:
      • Keep the tip of the rear speed sensor LH and installation hole free of foreign matter.
      • Do not rotate or apply excessive force to the rear speed sensor LH when removing it from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly LH. Rotating or applying excessive force may result in damage to the rear speed sensor LH.
  6. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR RH (w/o AVS) 
    1. Disengage the clamp and separate the wire harness from the sensor clamp.

    2. Disconnect the rear speed sensor connector.

    3. Remove the nut and separate the sensor clamp from the rear suspension member sub-assembly.
    4. Remove the 2 bolts and separate the 2 sensor clamps from the rear upper control arm assembly RH.

    5. Remove the 2 bolts, sensor clamp and rear speed sensor RH from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly RH and rear trailing arm assembly RH.

      NOTE:
      • Keep the tip of the rear speed sensor RH and installation hole free of foreign matter.
      • Do not rotate or apply excessive force to the rear speed sensor RH when removing it from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly RH. Rotating or applying excessive force may result in damage to the rear speed sensor RH.
  7. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR RH (w/ AVS) 
    1. Disconnect the rear speed sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and separate the sensor clamp from the rear upper control arm assembly RH.
    3. Remove the 2 bolts, sensor clamp and rear speed sensor RH from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly RH and rear trailing arm assembly RH.

      NOTE:
      • Keep the tip of the rear speed sensor RH and installation hole free of foreign matter.
