Removal [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ] 

  2. DISCONNECT FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

  3. REMOVE INNER NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the driver seat.

    See step  7 [09/2014 - 11/2017], or see step  7 [11/2017 - ]

  6. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR (FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER RH) 

    HINT: 

    The occupant detection sensor cannot be removed from the front seat cushion pad with cover RH as they are a unit.

    1. Disengage the fastener and separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

      Fastener
    2. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.
      3. Disengage the 3 clamps.

      4. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
    3. Disconnect the connector.

    4. Disengage the claw to separate the connector.

    5. Remove the clip.

    6. Disengage the hook.

    7. Disengage the 7 hooks and remove the occupant detection sensor (front seat cushion pad with cover RH).
