Removal [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    See step  1

  2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 or PROCEDURE - Step 21

  3. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24 or PROCEDURE - Step 24

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25 or PROCEDURE - Step 25

  5. DISCONNECT INVERTER COOLING PIPE

      Remove the 3 bolts and disconnect the inverter cooling pipe.

  6. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine oil level sensor connector.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and engine oil level sensor.
    3. Cut off the gasket as shown in the illustration.

      *2 Supply Part
    4. Remove the gasket from the engine oil level sensor.

      HINT: 

      After cutting away the parts of the gasket shown in the illustration, remove only the outer part of the gasket.
