Installation [08/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FRAME WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

    1. Install the frame wire with 4 new clamps.

    2. Insert the frame wire into the floor panel hole and engage the 3 claws.

      Front Side

      HINT: 

      The arrow should be pointing toward the front of the vehicle.

    3. Install the nut.

      Torque: 8.4 N*m (85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf) 

    4. Engage the clamp.

    5. Install the nut.

      Torque: 8.4 N*m (85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf) 

    6. Engage the 2 clamps.

    7. Install the nut.

      Torque: 8.4 N*m (85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf) 

    8. Install the heater water pipe sub-assembly with the nut.

      Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf) 

    9. Engage the clamp.

    12. Connect the engine room junction block assembly connector.

    14. Engage the clamp to install the wire harness protector to the floor panel.

  2. INSTALL INVERTER RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 54

  3. CONNECT HYBRID BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

    1. Connect the frame wire to the hybrid battery junction block assembly with the 2 nuts.

      *a Earth Terminal

      Torque: 9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf) 

      NOTE:
      • Make sure that the ends of the frame wire are not crossed over each other.
      • Be sure to connect the ends of the frame wire to the connect terminals.
    2. Connect the earth terminal.
    3. Engage the clamp.
  4. CHECK HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE CONNECTION 

    See step  15

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO POSITIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    3. Connect the clamp.

    4. Connect the frame wire to the auxiliary battery terminal with the nut.

      Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf) 

    5. Engage the clamp.
    6. Install the terminal cover.
  6. INSTALL UPPER HYBRID BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  16

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY EXHAUST DUCT 

    See step  17

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT 

    See step  19

  9. INSTALL REAR FLOOR BOARD SPACER 

    See step  20

  10. INSTALL HV BATTERY SHIELD SHEET

  11. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 58

  12. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 59

  13. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 60

  14. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side (See article. Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 ).

  15. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side (See article. Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 39 ).

  16. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH 

    (See article. Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2014 - ] ).

  17. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE REAR RH 
    1. Install the front suspension member brace rear RH with a new bolt (A) and the 2 bolts (B).

      Bolt (A) 

      Torque: 137 N*m (1397 kgf*cm, 101 ft.*lbf) 

      Bolt (B) 

      Torque: 93 N*m (948 kgf*cm, 69 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Install the clip.
  18. INSTALL FRONT CENTER FLOOR COVER RH (w/ Cover) 
    1. Engage the 3 clips to install the front center floor cover RH.
  19. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER RH (w/ Cover) 
    1. Engage the 3 clips (B) to install the front floor cover RH.

    2. Install the clip (A) and bolt.
  20. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR 
    1. Install the No. 1 front floor heat insulator with the 3 nuts.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf) 

  21. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 

    (See article. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2014 - ] .).

  22. INSTALL INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY 

    (See article. Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2014 - ] .).

  23. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/o Woofer) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 62

  24. INSTALL REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD (w/ Woofer) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 64

  25. INSTALL REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD (w/o Woofer) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 63

  26. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 61

  27. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP
