Installation [08/2014 - ]: Procedure

INSTALL VENTILATION VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the ventilation valve sub-assembly.
  Adhesive
  
  Toyota genuine adhesive 1324, three bond 1324 or equivalent
2. Using a ball joint lock nut wrench (22 mm), install the ventilation valve sub-assembly.
  Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)
  
  NOTE:
  Use the torque value compensation formula to calculate the torque value for use when a torque wrench is combined with a tool such as a ball joint lock nut wrench (See article. Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2014 - ] ).
3. Install the ventilation hose to the ventilation valve sub-assembly.
