Removal [10/2015 - ]: Procedure
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [10/2015 - 09/2017], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [09/2017 - 05/2018], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [05/2018 - ]
- REMOVE FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION MEMBER PROTECTOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [10/2015 - 09/2017], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [09/2017 - 05/2018], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [05/2018 - ]
- REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [10/2015 - 09/2017], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [09/2017 - 05/2018], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [05/2018 - ]
- DRAIN ENGINE OIL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- SEPARATE OIL COOLER TUBE
- REMOVE CRANK POSITION SENSOR BRACKET
- REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR
- Disconnect the engine oil level sensor connector.
- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Rotate the engine oil level sensor 180° counterclockwise and remove it from the oil pan sub-assembly.
- Cut off the gasket as shown in the illustration.
*a Cutting Position *b Supply Part - Remove the gasket from the engine oil level sensor.
HINT:
After cutting off the portions of the gasket shown in the illustration, remove only the outer part of the gasket.
- Disconnect the engine oil level sensor connector.
