Customize Parameters [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. CUSTOMIZE VEHICLE PROXIMITY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Customizing with the Techstream
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Others.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Proximity Sound Volume Adjustment Standard The proximity sound volume can be set to one of 3 levels. Standard / Standard +1 / Standard +2 Vehicle Approaching Speaker Controller
        Proximity Sound Level Increase (Vehicle Starting) ON The proximity sound level increase when the vehicle starts can be turned on or off. OFF / ON
        Proximity Sound Control (Vehicle Stationary) OFF Proximity sound control when the vehicle is stationary (vehicle speed 0 km/h [0 mph]) can be turned on or off. OFF / ON
