Removal [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Intercooler) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. REMOVE POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]

  5. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and battery try.

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE 
    1. Slide the 2 hose clamps and remove the No. 3 intercooler cooling water hose.

  7. REMOVE INTERCOOLER RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Slide the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 4 intercooler cooling water hose from the electric water pump assembly.

    2. Detach the clamp to disconnect the No. 4 intercooler cooling water hose from the body.

    3. Detach the clamp to disconnect the fuel hose assembly from the intercooler reservoir assembly.
    4. Remove the 2 bolts and intercooler reservoir assembly.
  8. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET 
    1. Remove the bolt and detach the clamp to disconnect the No. 3 engine wire from the wire harness clamp bracket.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and wire harness clamp bracket.
  9. DISCONNECT NO. 2 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE 
    1. Slide the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 2 intercooler cooling water hose from the water by-pass pipe.

  10. REMOVE WATER BY-PASS PIPE 
    1. Detach the 4 wire harness clamps to disconnect the engine wire and No. 2 engine wire from the water by-pass pipe.

    2. Slide the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 9 water by-pass hose from the water by-pass pipe.

    3. Slide the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 2 turbo water hose from the No. 1 turbo water by-pass pipe sub-assembly.
    4. Remove the 2 bolts and water by-pass pipe.
  11. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector from the throttle body with motor assembly.
    2. Slide the 2 hose clamps and disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass hose and No. 2 water by-pass hose from the throttle body with motor assembly.

      *1 No. 1 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 2 Water By-pass Hose
    3. Remove the 8 bolts and No. 2 air tube and throttle body with motor assembly.

    4. Remove the 3 gaskets.
