Removal [10/2015 - ]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [10/2015 - 09/2016] or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [09/2016 - ]
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [10/2015 - 09/2016] or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [09/2016 - ]
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [10/2015 - 09/2016] or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [09/2016 - ]
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [10/2015 - 09/2016] or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [09/2016 - ]
- REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
- Detach the upper clamp of the generator assembly.
- Remove the terminal cap.
- Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.
- Disconnect the generator connector from the generator assembly.
- Detach the 4 lower clamps of the generator assembly.
- Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly.
- Remove the 3 bolts and 2 wire harness clamp brackets from the generator assembly.
- Detach the upper clamp of the generator assembly.
