Inspection Procedure

NOTE:
  • The sliding roof key-linked function and transmitter-linked function can be customized. Make sure that both functions are ON. Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [08/2012 - ] .
  • When the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly is reinstalled or replaced, the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly must be initialized. Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2012 - ] .
  • Since the sliding roof system has functions that use BEAN communication, first confirm that there is no malfunction in the communication system by inspecting the BEAN communication functions in accordance with the How to Proceed with Troubleshooting procedure. Then, conduct the following inspection procedure.
