DTC C1425: Open in Stop Light Switch Circuit: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (STOP LIGHT SW) See step 2
NG → See step 3
OK: Go to next step
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2012 - ] .
- Start the engine.
- Depress the brake pedal several times to test the stop light circuit.
- Check if the same DTC is output. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2012 - ]

Result Proceed to DTC is not output A DTC is output B

- CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (STP) See step 11
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE (+B, GND) See step 6
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (STP) See step 7
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (OUT)
- Reconnect the A6 stop light control relay connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.STANDARD VOLTAGE
