Confirmation Of Transmitter ID Registration

  1. Set the tire pressure of all wheels to the specified value.
  2. Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to DLC3.
  3. With the vehicle stopped and parking brake applied, turn the engine switch on (IG).
  4. Select "SIGNAL CHECK" mode on the intelligent tester or Techstream.
  5. Forcibly transmit the transmitter IDs for all wheels by rapidly reducing tire air pressure (above 20 kPa/15 sec.). When rapidly reducing the pressure, remove the valve core. Perform this step to all tires.
  6. Check that test mode DTCs C2181/81, C2182/82, C2183/83 and C2184/84 are all erased. The transmitter ID registration is complete when the test mode DTCs are erased. If they haven't been erased, reset the tire pressure to the specified value and rotate the tire 90-270 degrees. Then forcibly transmit the transmitter IDs of all wheels. If they are still output, register the transmitter IDs.
  7. Set the tire pressure of all wheels to the specified value.
