DTC C1289: VGRS Control System Malfunction: Description

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) communicates with the steering control ECU via CAN communication.

If a malfunction in the variable gear ratio steering system (VGRS system) is detected, cooperative control of the steering is prohibited by the fail-safe function.
