Fuel Pressure Regulator: Removal: Removal

DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE
1. Discharge fuel system pressure. Refer to PRECAUTION .
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
REMOVE NO. 3 ROOM PARTITION PAD See step 4
REMOVE NO. 2 REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER See step 5
REMOVE FUEL SUCTION WITH PUMP AND GAUGE TUBE ASSEMBLY See step 6
REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY See step 9
SEPARATE FUEL SUCTION PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY See step 2
REMOVE FUEL FILTER See step 3
REMOVE JET PUMP See step 4
REMOVE FUEL PUMP HARNESS See step 5
REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT See step 6
REMOVE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY See step 7
REMOVE FUEL MAIN VALVE ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the fuel main valve assembly from the fuel filter.

2. Remove the 2 O-rings from the fuel main valve.

REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Detach the 2 claws of the fuel filter and remove the cap.

2. Remove the fuel pressure regulator assembly from the fuel filter.
3. Remove the 2 O-rings from the fuel pressure regulator assembly.
