Wireless Door Lock Control System: Precaution: Precaution

  1. PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the terminal is reconnected.

    System Name See Procedure
    Parking Assist Monitor System Refer to INITIALIZATION
    Side Monitor System (w/ Parking Assist Monitor System)
    Back Door Closer System
    Power Back Door System
  2. PRECAUTION WHEN USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. When using the Techstream to troubleshoot the wireless door lock control system:

      Connect the Techstream to the DLC3 while the engine switch is off, and turn a door courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-second intervals until communication between the Techstream and vehicle begins.
