TC and CG Terminal Circuit: Procedure
- CHECK DLC3 (TC VOLTAGE)
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Measure the voltage of the DLC3.
Standard voltage
Tester Connection Specified Condition D1-13 (TC) - Body ground 10 to 14 V
NG → See step 3
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Check the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR
.RESULT
Result Proceed to DTC is not output A DTC is output B
B → REPAIR CIRCUITS INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTCS
A → REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
- Check the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SKID CONTROL ECU - ECM)

- Disconnect the E6 ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Specified Condition D1-13 (TC) - E5-3 (TC) Below 1 Ω D1-13 (TC) - Body ground 1 MΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DLC3 - BODY GROUND)
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Specified Condition D1-4 (CG) - Body ground Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Check the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR
.RESULT
Result Proceed to DTC is not output A DTC is output B
B → REPAIR CIRCUITS INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTCS
A → REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
- Check the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR
