TC and CG Terminal Circuit: Procedure

  1. CHECK DLC3 (TC VOLTAGE)

    1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    2. Measure the voltage of the DLC3.

      Standard voltage

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      D1-13 (TC) - Body ground 10 to 14 V

    NG → See step   3 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Check the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      DTC is not output A
      DTC is output B

    B → REPAIR CIRCUITS INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTCS 

    A → REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU 

  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SKID CONTROL ECU - ECM)

    1. Disconnect the E6 ECM connector.
    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      D1-13 (TC) - E5-3 (TC) Below 1 Ω
      D1-13 (TC) - Body ground 1 MΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  4. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DLC3 - BODY GROUND)

    1. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      D1-4 (CG) - Body ground Below 1 Ω

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  5. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Check the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      DTC is not output A
      DTC is output B

    B → REPAIR CIRCUITS INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTCS 

    A → REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
