Data List / Active Test

HINT: 

Using the Data List displayed on the Techstream, you can read the value of the switch, sensor, actuator, etc. without parts removal. Reading the Data List as the first step in troubleshooting is one way to shorten the labor time.

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Turn the Techstream ON.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / desired system / Data List.
5. According to the display on the Techstream, read the "Data List".
   IMMOBILIZER

   Key SW	Key unlock warning switch signal / ON or OFF	ON: Key is in ignition key cylinder OFF: No key is in ignition key cylinder

   Door Unlock Detection	Door unlock detection switch signal / ON or OFF	ON: Door is unlocked OFF: Door is locked
   Courtesy Switch	Door courtesy switch signal / ON or OFF	ON: Door is open OFF: Door is closed

   Door Unlock Detection	Door unlock detection switch signal / ON or OFF	ON: Door is unlocked OFF: Door is locked
   Courtesy Switch	Door courtesy switch signal / ON or OFF	ON: Door is open OFF: Door is closed

HINT: 

Performing the Active Test using the Techstream allows the relay, VSV, actuator, etc. to operate without removing any parts . Performing the Active Test as the first step of troubleshooting is one way to shorten labor time.

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Turn the Techstream ON.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Driver Door / Active Test.
5. According to the display on the Techstream, perform the "Active Test".
