Inspection Procedure

CHECK TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY

Disconnect the R19 display connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below

Standard resistance

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
R19-16 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below

Standard voltage

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
R19-14 (+B) - Body ground	Always	11 to 14 V
R19-29 (ACC) - Body ground	Power switch ON (ACC)	11 to 14 V

NG: Go to step 2

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY - MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER)

Disconnect the R19 display connector.
Disconnect the R30 controller connector

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below

Standard resistance

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

R19-14 (+B) - R30-2 (+B1)	Always	Below 1 Ω
R19-29 (ACC) - R30-7 (ACC1)

R19-29 (ACC) - Body ground
R19-16 (GND) - Body ground

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER (See REMOVAL )
