- CHECK DTC
- Use the intelligent tester or Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

- READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (MIRROR RETRACT SWITCH)
- Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the mirror retract switch

- Intelligent tester
- Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the mirror retract switch
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (MIRROR RETRACT FUNCTION)
- Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the intelligent tester or Techstream to generate a control command, and then check the mirror retract function

- Intelligent tester
- Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the intelligent tester or Techstream to generate a control command, and then check the mirror retract function
- INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH
- Remove the mirror LH (see REMOVAL )
- For each mirror position- Disconnect the battery, set the mirror position by hand, connect the battery, and check the retractable mirror's movementNOTE:
- Disconnect and reconnect the battery once between each mirror position check.
- Do not apply battery voltage when moving the mirror by hand into each mirror position.
