Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Install a new gasket to the sensor.
    2. Install the sensor.

      Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)

    3. Connect the sensor connector.
  2. ADD ENGINE COOLANT  (See REPLACEMENT )
  3. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
  4. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
