Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor: Inspection

  1. INSPECT EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 7 72 kΩ or higher
      3 - 4

      If the result is not as specified, replace the exhaust gas temperature sensor.
