DCM(Telematics Transceiver): Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL NO. 2 TELEPHONE BRACKET 
    1. Set the aligning protrusions of the bracket, labeled A, into the holes of the DCM (telematics transceiver).

    2. Install the No. 2 telephone bracket with the screw labeled B.
  2. INSTALL NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET 
    1. Set the aligning protrusions of the bracket, labeled A, into the holes of the DCM (telematics transceiver).

    2. Install the No. 1 telephone bracket with the 2 screws labeled B.
  3. INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) WITH BRACKET 
    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Install the DCM (telematics transceiver) with the 3 bolts.
  4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 18
  5. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MOULDING  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 19
  6. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
  7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2
  8. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 22
  9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 23
  10. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 9
  11. INSTALL NO. 3 BOX PANEL  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 6
  12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .

  13. PRECAUTION FOR DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) 
    1. When replacing the DCM (telematics transceiver), perform the vehicle contract setting. Refer to DCM ACTIVATION .
