Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the R19 display connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition R19-16 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
STANDARD VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition R19-14 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V R19-29 (ACC) - Body ground Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V NG: Go to step 2
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION DISPLAY - MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER)
- Disconnect the R19 display connector.
- Disconnect the R30 controller connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard resistance

OK: REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER (See REMOVAL )
