Inspection Procedure

CHECK FOR DTC (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)
1. Enter the following menus: Chassis/ABS/VSC/TRAC/Trouble Code.
2. Check for DTCs.
  OK:
  
  Electronically controlled brake system DTC is not output.
  
  NG: GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART )
  
  OK: Go to next step
CHECK FOR DTC (SFI SYSTEM)
1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain/Engine/Trouble Code.
2. Check for DTCs.
  OK:
  
  SFI system DTC is not output.
  
  NG: GO TO SFI SYSTEM (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART )
  
  OK: Go to next step
REPLACE ECM
1. Replace the ECM (see REMOVAL ).
CHECK SKID CONTROL ECU
1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain/Radar Cruise/Trouble Code.
2. Select "Clear" and clear the data.
3. Recheck for DTC.
  OK:
  
  DTC C1A41 is not output.
  
  NG: Go to step 5
  
  OK: END
REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
1. Replace the skid control ECU (see REMOVAL ).
CHECK DRIVING SUPPORT ECU
1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain/Radar Cruise/Trouble Code.
2. Select "Clear" and clear the data.
3. Recheck for DTC.
  OK:
  
  DTC C1A41 is not output.
  
  NG: REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU (See REMOVAL )
  
  OK: END
