Inspection Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (DRIVING SUPPORT ECU) 
    1. Connect the use the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Read the Data List and check the country specification information of the driving support ECU and vehicle.

      Radar Cruise 

      RADAR CRUISE REFERENCE CHART

      Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
      Country# (DSS) Driving support ECU country signal/JPN, NA, EURO, GEN Actual country code -

      OK: 

      Country specification information for vehicle and driving support ECU matches. 

      NG: REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU  (See DRIVING SUPPORT ECU )

      OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
    2. Clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
    3. Recheck for DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).

      OK: 

      DTC C1A02 is not output. 

      NG: REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU  (See REMOVAL )

      OK: USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK  (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
