Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH) 
    1. Disconnect the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J75-23 (PCTY) - Body ground B - Body ground Front passenger side courtesy light switch input Front passenger side door CLOSED (OFF) → OPEN (ON) 10 kΩ or higher → Below 1 Ω
      J75-25 (LGCY) - Body ground L - Body ground Luggage compartment door courtesy light switch input Luggage compartment door CLOSED (OFF) → OPEN (ON) 10 kΩ or higher → Below 1 Ω
      P1-14 (DCTY) - Body ground W - Body ground Driver side door courtesy light switch input Driver side door CLOSED (OFF) → OPEN (ON) 10 kΩ or higher → Below 1 Ω
      P1-16 (RCTY) - Body ground O - Body ground Rear door courtesy light switch RH input Rear door RH CLOSED (OFF) → OPEN (ON) 10 kΩ or higher → Below 1 Ω
      RD-11 (GND2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      RA-11 (LCTY) - Body ground BR - Body ground Rear door courtesy light switch LH input Rear door LH CLOSED (OFF) → OPEN (ON) 10 kΩ or higher → Below 1 Ω
      RA-15 (ALTB) - Body ground SB - Body ground +B (power generator system) power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      RD-7 (GND2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      RK-5 (BECU) - Body ground G-R - Body ground +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      RM-1 (ACC) - Body ground B - Body ground Ignition power supply (ACC signal) Engine switch on (ACC) → off 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      RM-1 (IG) - Body ground B - Body ground Ignition power supply (IG signal) Engine switch on (IG) → off 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      RN-1 (BATB) - Body ground R - Body ground +B (power battery system) power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) connectors.
    4. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      A36-1 (SH) - Body ground W - Body ground Security horn drive Answer back security horn is not sounding → Sounding Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      A36-2 (BZR) - Body ground G - Body ground Wireless door lock buzzer Wireless door lock buzzer OFF → ON Below 1 V → Pulse generation
      J74-1 (TR+) - Body ground P - Body ground Luggage compartment door opener motor input Luggage compartment door CLOSED (LOCKED) → OPEN (UNLOCKED) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      J74-2 (HAZ) - Body ground Y - Body ground Turn signal flasher relay signal Any transmitter switch is pressed → not pressed Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
  2. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the P33 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      P33-1 (+B1) - P33-17 (E) L - W-B Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      P33-17 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      • If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
    3. Reconnect the P33 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      P33-18 (IG) - P33-17 (E) B - W-B IG power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      P33-18 (IG) - P33-17 (E) B - W-B IG power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      P33-29 (RC0) - P33-17 (E) LG - W-B Door control receiver power supply Engine switch off, all doors closed and transmitter switch not pressed Below 1 V
      P33-29 (RC0) - P33-17 (E) LG - W-B Door control receiver power supply Engine switch off, all doors closed and transmitter switch pressed 4.6 to 5.4 V
      P33-38 (RDA) - P33-17 (E) R - W-B Door control receiver input signal Engine switch off, all doors closed and transmitter switch not pressed 11 to 14 V pulse generation at regular intervals
      P33-38 (RDA) - P33-17 (E) R - W-B Door control receiver input signal Engine switch off, all doors closed and transmitter switch pressed Pulse generation
      • If the result is not as specified, the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) may have a malfunction.
