CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
- Perform a simulation test (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING
)
- In the simulation test, reproduce the driving condition at the trouble occurrence according to the customer&s comments and freeze frame data recorded with DTCs, such as an opening angle of the accelerator pedal, SOC, engine coolant temperature, engine rpm, and Motor/Generator/ Rear Motor rpm and torque.
- Check the connector(s) and terminal(s) (See HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT ECU CONTROLLED SYSTEMS
)
- Wiggle the harness and connector(s) (See HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT ECU CONTROLLED SYSTEMS
)
- Heat or cool suspected parts (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING
)
NOTE:
Do not directly heat or cool the MG ECU with the inverter cover removed.
