Inspection Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
- Check the CRUISE main indicator light by performing the Active Test.
Combination Meter:
DIAGNOSTIC NOTETester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note Indicat. Lamp Cruise Cruise main indicator light BLINK/OFF - OK: Indicator light blinks/goes off.
NG: REPLACE COMBINATION METER
OK: Go to next step.
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Laser Cruise / Data List.
- Check the Data List for proper functioning of the CRUISE main indicator light. Hybrid Vehicle Control ECU (Laser Cruise):

OK: When cruise control main switch operation is performed, the result will be same as above.
HINT:
1 is OK, but 2 is NG → DTC output or hybrid vehicle control ECU failure
NG: REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
