Inspection Procedure
NOTE:
When the distance control ECU is replaced with a new one, initialization must be performed (See INITIALIZATION
).
- REPLACE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU
- Replace the distance control ECU with a new one (See REMOVAL ).
- Perform initialization (See INITIALIZATION ).
- CHECK DTC (DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM)
- Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Trouble Code.
- Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
- Perform the following to make sure the DTC detection conditions are met.
HINT:
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
- Drive the vehicle at a speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) or more.
- Turn the cruise control main switch on to set the vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode to the standby state.
- Check for DTCs (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR
).
OK: DTC P1615 is not output.
NG: REPLACE ECM (See ECM )
