PTC Heater Assembly: Inspection

  1. INSPECT PTC HEATER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance 

      RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-1 - B-1 23 to 25°C (73 to 77°F) 0.5 to 2.5 Ω
      A-2 - B-1 23 to 25°C (73 to 77°F) 0.5 to 2.5 Ω
      A-2 - B-2 23 to 25°C (73 to 77°F) 0.5 to 2.5 Ω
      A-3 - B-2 23 to 25°C (73 to 77°F) 0.5 to 2.5 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the PTC heater assembly.
