Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - STEREO JACK ADAPTER (AUDIO TERMINAL)) 
    1. Disconnect the connectors from the stereo jack adapter (audio terminal) and radio receiver.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      AUXO - AUXI Always Below 1 Ω
      ASGN - ASGN Always Below 1 Ω
      ARO - ARI Always Below 1 Ω
      ALO - ALI Always Below 1 Ω
      AUXO - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      ARO - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      ALO - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
